IMMH FUNDAMENTALS
AN INTRODUCTION TO INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE

IMMH Fundamentals is recommended for anyone who hasn't attended IMMH before, and is a great refresher for those who have attended before.  These presentations include  Integrative Medicine for Depression and Anxiety – Part 1 and Part 2 by James Greenblatt, MD,  Microorganisms and Their Effects on Mental Health and The Effect of Food Allergies on Mental Health by William Shaw, PhD, and Thyroid on My Mind by Louis Cady, MD.  We highly recommend that first-time IMMH attendees go to the IMMH Fundamentals presentations.  They will give you a solid foundation for the essentials of integrative medicine for mental health.  View the full schedule and presenting speakers below.

TRACK 2
ORGANIC ACIDs testing:
AN INVALUABLE TOOL FOR ALL INTEGRATIVE PRACTITIONERS

This one-day intensive training presented by Kurt Woeller, DO will review the Organic Acids Test (OAT) from The Great Plains Laboratory, a diagnostic tool that every healthcare practitioner should know about. Whether you are a family practitioner, neurologist, pediatrician, psychiatrist, or nutritionist, the information available from the OAT can be applied to any practice situation.  You will learn how the OAT can help identify underlying causes of a variety of chronic illnesses, including the symptoms of autism and many neuropsychiatric disorders.  Dr. Woeller will not only show you how the OAT can be used in clinical practice, but ways to use it along with other diagnostic assessments.
